When you delve deeper into programming and interacting with the shell becomes mundane, enhancing productivity in editing is an aspect which you cannot overlook. Before I began to cherish the fruits of transparency, freedom, and ownership that Linux(and Open Source) has to offer, I quickly found myself at a point where I had to choose my religion- Holy Church of Emacs or Cult of Vi.
